Short answer: no!
High repetitions are not generally a good investment for your time!
Try to do maximum 10 repetitions per set.
If your main objective is fat loss, aerobic exercise is a more efficient choice for you.
Weight training helps us to increase our muscle mass. Muscles are metabolically more active than fat.
Heavy weight training will additionally elicit a powerful metabolic response. Our metabolism will be higher for many hours after the workout(EPOC/ afterburn).
Both these outcomes come from heavy weights which means low repetitions.
Conclusion: more reps per set won't help you burn more fat. Actually the opposite will happen.
